Not Just The Westside

By David Bennington, Kalealoa
Lucky us for all that the advertising, (millions of dollars) to stress the fact that to ride the rail, it will be at the same rates and the same rules as the Bus. What they haven't mentioned is the rates on the Bus are going up to $5.00. And the people in the neighbor islands are a little miffed that they are going to pay for the rail too. You didn't think the rich were going to pay, do you? Ask Trump! He He! He!

"I used to have a handle on life, but da buggah broke."

The increasing amount of dance fans on Oahu of the "Oldies but Goodies" music have a different affinity for their music than the young rappers. The music in the old days was something to worship. Nowadays, these people  go around very comfortably with earphones stuck in their ears, hearing music 25 hours a day, 8 days a week. And did they hear anything? They admit that some times they do, Gawd!

"Tell Me Why" by the Four Aces

I am firmly convinced that the primary reason for the advancement of hits on these blogs is the amount of information and photo contributors. Next, in importance is the feedback in comments or information contributions such as this one. The secret to our type of blogging is that I, by myself, am not the answer. Once we get a few, the rest will be easy. But the dancers will eventually decide. The total hits are going up gradually as more people become aware.

"Take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though everybody is watching."
