The Hit Parade

A dance blog is what most dance websites would like to be, updated on a regular basis, containing content that is of interest to a select or target dance audience. Information easy to update and change. Our readers are gradually picking up on this action. Getting out of single average per day hits is my first goal. Once into the double digits I can count on hits increasing however slowly it happens. They will fluctuate as long as they have or lack the Information and Photo contributors and Guest Bloggers.

"Social dancers know that success is getting what you want.
Happiness is wanting what you get."

We are not talking Journalism or English majors, we are talking about dancers with opinions. How about a long time teacher of American style of dance? They don't know it but they would make perfectly new viewpoints. I don't have anyone to cover that section and getting into the exclusive section is 33 average hits per day which is 1000 hits per month. This is communication to our dance audience and I can consider it definitely a Blog. At the beginning of the year 2018, only Town Dancer and Platinum Horseshoe are beyond those levels.

I said green yesterday, I said green last week, and I said green last month. That is referred to in Blogging as SOS. (same old shit) Now, someone gets in who says "blue." A refreshing new opinion, not the same old crap. The hits start to go though the roof. Simple? That's it! Most of our other blogs are at or below 20 hits per day, and I get worried if they drop to the low 10s. I will leave them in while I work at promoting them on Word Press, Twitter, Google Plus, Pinterest, Tumblr and Facebook. Most of you don't have to worry about this, I will have to find the right people to get on the bandwagon and the hits will go through the stratosphere.

that dance came from the people."
