Semi - Web - Blog

A dance web site is usually very well designed and it is valuable because it contains information that is very permanent for the readers. Most of our dance clubs on this island have one. They usually have the aims of group, the Officers, the teachers,  and the schedule of events at the dance club. In addition they may have important contacts and links to other dance groups. These things do not change very often, it is the ordinary nature of a web site and they are updated every couple months or so.

“Social dancers admit that the follower is the star of the dance.
The lead dictates the moves and the follower usually executes
them beautifully. That makes for a great dance.”

Blogs have to be more current and up to date. Most blogs must cover more ground than just one group, so the updates are much faster. A week or so is about as slow as you can go to satisfy your readership. However some blogs on the Mainland are on daily basis with a half dozen or so guest bloggers getting their items in. What do I know? But for sure I am getting to know better than anyone else.

"I've Got You Under My Skin" by Jimmy Borges

"Dance And Live" was the blog that had to go but I didn't want to let it go. Yeah, what do I know? I know pretty well what dance blogs do throughout the world. And I know pretty well what dance web sites do throughout the world. But I have never seen one that is in between. Do I know what I am doing? No, but I am going to try it. First I am going to publish every Sunday, take a look see and if you want something in there email it in by Saturday.

“Many people are coming back to dance socially, they cannot help themselves.
People need music and dance and beautiful things. They can get
busy and forget, but not forever."
