Looking It Over

This coast is opening up so beautifully this year and it may be paving the way for the rest of the island. Downtown Honolulu is not the Island of Oahu. The people on this coast have realized for a long time that they have been marginalized by Honolulu. But now with the advent of the Rail Disaster they are getting together to assert their interests as residents of this island community.

Makaha Studios have their own ways of deriving income but they are also interested in promoting the interests of the citizens of this coast. So we offer to help where we can. They are in front of all those in the Waianae Coast.

SeaRider Productions is mainly Waianae High School and doing very well in the public relations business. They have three majors - Film/TV, Journalism and Digital Media - that cover everything in media.

Westside Stories is a community newspaper printed monthly and mailed to homes in Nanakuli, Ma`ili, Wai`anae, and Makaha. Can you imagine a bi-monthly together with Tamura specials. What a publication. It would rival Midweek all the way down to Kapolei that is for sure.

We are truly evolving in da reel Waianae Coast. We seem to be the only ones that know, if it takes more than an hour to get to work it is too far. So Rome was not built in a day. We can help Kapolei evolve into a real second city in spite of the Rail Catastrophe and perhaps Waianae as "third" city.
