Nights in the West

Nuttin' much doin' in the West but lotsa talk. It is a start and everyone knows that Night Clubbing will increase in the West in spite of the Rail Calamity and also "because" of the Rail Disaster. Just gotta make sure it is far enough away from the noise. In Kalihi it will have to be on School Street because King Street is still too close, the noise may be unbearable. Yes, we are talking steel wheels on steel rails. Bigger profits for the Fat Cats in Honolulu. And we all know its the bread, Fred.

"The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone,
but the things you do for others may remain a lot longer.”

The next best spot is in the old Salt Lake Shopping Center. Would be an ideal location if the the Rail Disaster is far enough away. The same applies to the Stadium Shopping Center. Both probably off limits because of the Rail Crisis. That leaves Moanalua and that looks good too. The increase in traffic in town is not going to get any better. Everyone agrees that it will get worse now that they realize that "Rapid Transit" was not a misnomer, it was a deliberate lie.

In spite of all this the dancers will keep on dancing and West Honolulu to the Stadium is looking better all the time. Dance Clubs and Night Clubs. And the new Night Clubs will understand that dancers are drinkers but not necessary alcohol. The money can be made in other items. Some of the Juice Bars on the Mainland are doing just great. And how about chopstick pupus, not necessary to touch with fingers?

Pub's Side Note: There have been two groups in town that have consistently produced the best International Style dancers on this island. By the same token there have been two groups that have consistently produce the worst International Style dancers on this Island. Who? Ha Ha! We are talking competition here are we not? That is the name of somebody else's game not ours.
