The 20s begin to unfold.

Most of the West Oahu is still floundering around at dancing loose ends and there is nothing very definite to make more permanent decisions. Kapolei has fizzled out as Second City But we all accept that Life is not a bowl of cherries. The people will eventually do something about third city. I find the social dancers very cooperative and we are getting the right Public Relations into our blogs to benefit everyone in the dance scene. Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club has been our main connection with the Social Dance Scene. But I am still a work in process. If I am invited to a dance, I will make every effort to be there and blog'em.

"Most social dancers believe that they should make the most of
dancing with different people and making new friends."

There are still efforts being made on the Waianae Coast and the North Shore to have some dancing location. Not only Waianae, but Makaha and Nanakuli. On the the North Shore the one most leading in music and dance has been Cholo's. In the Central Valley, Mililani is perking up. Community Centers are very particular. District Parks are a little more receptive to dancing. I may want to find out more, but of course, there are those that say, "It none of your business." So be it, they should be respected and I gotta be on my way.

The music in West Oahu is morphing very nicely into the most accepted playlist for the Social Dancer. There is some music that has been added to the dance music of the Discipline's Syllabi. Salsa, Night Club 2 step, Bachata.  Some music that is almost omitted from both the American and the International styles of dance. When was the last time you and your partner dropped into a Night Club for a little  "Paso Doble?"

"Social dancers believe that we are done with past and the future
has plenty of room to change for the better."
