Complications

The new programmers are a much different group than the old programmers. The old ones were simplifiers, not the new ones. I am sure that many programming "committees' come to a point where somebody says, "Wait a minute, there must be a more complicated way of doing this."

'Do not forget small kindnesses and do not remember small faults."

Computers are getting more complicated. Twenty years ago when the GUI came into use, they were tools, utensils to be used  by everyone. Now one has to be very careful. The computers come full of stuff you will never need. Press the wrong button and you will send the computer to the moon.

That is the why of the new Chromebook by Google, using the KISS method. Keep It Simple, Stupid. Your email, and little word processing is the extent of it and it does a very good job. It does complicate things in photos but everyone does even in point and shoot cameras.

It is no wonder that many out there do not want to even look like they will make a commitment to be an information and photo contributor. They would rather have no commitments and complications. But it should be evident by now how often our Guest Authors blog. They do not have any special commitments (except to their special readers) we just provide the platform, that is all.

For now we need someone in the International Division of Dancing to support and enhance Calvin's blogs. We are getting overwhelmed with support for the American Style of Dance. Then we need another person that frequents the Night Club circuit and could supplement Richie's contributions very nicely. This blog seems to have those kinds of reader/dancers. For sure this blog would go to number one, stay there and we could prepare for its independence.

Then this blog also seems to be developing readers in the more advanced stages of dancing. I prefer the beginner and intermediates. We could develop our own Bronze steps and patterns, which could easily reach 30 but you could enjoy moving to a lot of nice music with just that.

We got some good posters from Manoa Chapter HBDA. Easy to copy and paste to the blogs, ordinarily Blogging the Pacific but I also posted to the new ones, East Ko'olau Blog and Oahu East. I also got an extra into the Central Valley blog.
