The Rail Catastrophe

Not too many in town yet realize what they voted for. Some are beginning to see the rise in prices. Our legislators jumped the gun and gave themselves a healthy raise in pay, they're not dummies. The ordinary tax payer is not in that position. When the Fed money runs out, (and the Present Rail Party is going through it fast,) we are in deep doo doo.

The Articulated bus, with enough of them, our problems could have been solved
but the big bucks in profits are somewhere else. "And I coulda got the bus
right around the corner like I always did."

Property Taxes will double and you know what that will do to the rents. Oh you lucky people. Gas will go to $8 per gallon, and will be matched by the price of milk at the super. And as Al Jolson used to say, "You ain't seen nuttin' yet." Parking downtown no less that $600 per month. All for Vapid Transit which will never beat what we have now in speed. And I will give you a for instance. Makaha to down town and back on the #93 bus. Check it out. And the Present Rail Party plans to cut that bus out as soon as they can, naturally.

And they say they plan to make Honolulu more beautiful. They just went to the wrong schools. We know better. Look at the photos on the right, before and after the Rail Disaster.

But the rally has started, the Makakilo, Kapolei and Honokai Hale neighborhood boards voted thumbs down on the Rail Mess. Over one dozen good reasons why it does no good for "second city" (don't laugh) and who is making the money. First bid already out for the first 100 million. You got any idea what the commissions run on that? Ha, easy money. It's the dough, Moe.

Pub's Side Note: Since many people think we are making money in these blogs we have decided we are going to start charging. Anybody that makes over a million dollars a day has gotta pay. Most of you will not be in trouble until next year.
