Not A Bad Day

Left early on Saturday and made it Nanakuli to Town in one hour. The Rail ain't nevah gonna beat that in a million years. "Rapid Transit" is not a misnomer, it is a deliberate lie. It's the Pay, Ray. It's the Cash, Nash. Millions and Millions of dollars in pure profits.

"We spend the year walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a
list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Perhaps for the rest of this
year, to balance the list, we could walk through the rooms of our lives...
...not looking for flaws, but for potential."

Took a nice leisurely walk to the Dance Studio and no one was there. It was after 8. I waited around until 8:30 and still no one. A lady suggested that it was cancelled. Fine, I walked back to the bus stop on Dillingham and got the last express bus to the Waianae Coast. Was home before ten.

Then I thought to recheck my schedules and there it was. Supposed to be next week, Saturday. Anyway I got out and had some exercise and got home early and made my plans for the week

We still have a good part of the year:

Not by shielding ourselves from all sorrows and pain, - But by strengthening ourselves to bear it, as it comes;
Not by making our path easy, - But by making us sturdy to travel any path;
Not by taking hardships from us, - But by taking fear from our heart;
Not by granting us unbroken sunshine, - But by keeping our faces bright, even in the shadows.

So this blog will make it with a few comments now and then by anyone. The Two Centers willing to share dance information and photos with their fellow dancers and of course, the main thing should be the main thing. The Guest Author.

So we have heard of the new Night Club in Salt Lake but nothing much about it. May be all right if they can keep it away from the Rail Disaster. This best chance would be Kapolei, for its intent on really making it Second City. Of course, the Present Rail Party keeps getting in the way. There may be a new Social Dance club first in Honokai Hale or Kalealoa Harbor.
