The Amazing Waianae Coast

Makaha Studios and Westside Stories are doing just great in bringing the Waianae Coast to the forefront on the Island of Oahu. For far too long we have remained in the background and not taken seriously by the Powers that be. We are not there yet but we are moving in the right direction.

Got a good photo of something real solid in Waianae, the Post Office.

 

Gives the impression of sturdiness, honesty and permanence.

The only blot on the Horizon is the new spot in the Nanakuli Ridge, that is developing a cast of unsavory characters. The police seem to know of it but I guess nothing can be done. The regular citizens try to avoid that sector and Kaiser Permanente has not said anything yet.

The hits on this blog are surprising. They have gone into the 20s average hits per day. That is 600 hits per month. I am holding my breath. Then surfing the Internet I came across this poster which looked nice.

Whatever it is, it looks like a good cause.

Pub's Side Note: Blogs are more personal, direct and more current communication, They leave an opening for comments in each blog and they are receptive to more formal answers and opinions in the blog itself. The hits go through the ceiling. Real Social Media is much different than anything we have come across before on the Waianae Coast. And we are waiting patiently for the Two Centers.
