Blogging

At least now we know. People still accept Web sites a lot easier than Blog sites. For some reason or other, there seems to be more "class" attached onto a Web site. We use to hear it quite often, "Oh, we have our own Web site now." as if that established that they had "arrived." There is more to it than that.

"Wonder rather than doubt is the root of all knowledge."<

Now in our blogs sites, we are concerned with communication to the vast dance audience out there and much of it has ignore us. We have ample evidence that graphics (photos) have a definite tendency to increase user engagement on Web or Blog sites. Therefore, we need to include as many visual attractions as possible to promote our content. If we can get the people to learn how to email a photo, we can post and share with our fellow dancers.

And though the counters are pretty badly done, we can still use them as a guide. Mine were pretty well screwed up with scam, spam robot hits that did something for somebody but certainly not for me or the reader/dancers of this community. I have been gradually reinstalling the counter on our blogs. Not the gospel but they help to compare in many ways and I can install my own methods into my spreadsheet program. And I am learning all the time. Anyone out there knows it all? For sure the more information that comes in and is published, the more readers we will get. It is taking time.

whereas before, there were only walls."

We still have Twitter, Word Press, Tumblr and Linkedin to help spread the word. Many of them with my Pen Name. We just dropped Facebook, they are just too much. You can have them.
