Halloween Party

The day was not too good for me but I could look forward to going to Wahiawa for their Halloween dance in the evening. The Handi Van arrived promptly at six and I was there before seven. TA DA!

Nice smiling crowd already forming and dancing started in no time to the terrific music of Leland, all of it was very welcomed. Maile had some good help working on the setup. People kept coming with the goodies to eat and the dancing proceeded very nicely.  It was also nice to see so much line dancing and it is still mostly women and much is too difficult for me. Getting more men is nice. Keep it up men, it may make you a better partner dancer.

"Happy Halloween!! It's scary how much fun it is to move and dance to a musical beat and feel so alive. Thanks, WBDC for making it happen." ~ Richard.

The dancers were smiling and laughing, having fun until shortly before 8 and we had got in the circle holding hands and Leo said Grace. The line then formed for all that delicious food fit for royalty. I cannot eat there, but thanks to Maile she got me a plate to take home. And this becomes Dine and Dance. Plenty of good old talking story when you are eating.

"Happy Halloween! Have a fantastic scary dance nite of
friends  and friendly spirits." ~ Peter Sy

I have to thank Richard, Craig, Rod and Leo for some great help in getting the photos. They did a great job, I got enough to be able to delete the worst fuzzy ones because the resolution is too high on the camera and I don't know how to fix it. The duplicates and the singles, I was able to delete. The next batch will go into the  Oahu Dancers blog.

"Happy Halloween! May all the joy of the coming season
fill you heart, Enjoy." ~ Leo Delgado

I asked the Handi Van for a 9 o'clock pick up and they were not sure. I got ready at 8:30 and moved to the door and waited until almost 9:30. He had two people in the van and picked another later. I don't complain as long as they get me home.

"A social dancer’s art is lived while they are dancing. When the evening is gone,
nothing is left of their art except the pictures and the memories."
