Looking Good

Just got back from my visit to the VA, nice trip. Was picked up at home by VA-DAV van and taken to the VA. The news was good at the VA and the stitches were removed and from the VA I was delivered back home. Never in my life did  I think that would be possible. Things are looking up. The bus situation will bother me less, I only feel sorry for the many that have to pay for the Rail Disaster in money and time.

"Social Dancing is contagious, help start an Island epidemic."

However, due to my deteriorating health, I must cut back and keep it slow. I cannot get around much anymore but I will monitor my stats daily. I will post the Stats for our entire blogosphere for the month of July. I will post the stats first day in the month in the Town Dancer blog, so that the most people will see the results. And if one of the blogs is eliminated, no one will question why, they will be able to see it plainly in the hits.

Meanwwhile, I will have to start looking up some information on line dancing and bring everybody up to date. Line dancing's current popularity grew out of the disco period, when the country-western dance and music communities continued to explore and develop this form of dancing.

Billy Ray Cyrus' 1992 hit Achy Breaky Heart, helped catapult western line dancing back into the musical mainstream's public consciousness. Then in 1998, the band Steps created further interest with the techno dance song "5,6,7,8". From there it has spread out to other types of dances and no one insists on wearing cowboy hats and boots.
