Greatest With The Latest

This year I have been reading that Salsa has peaked and Bachata is taking over. However I still seem to get plenty of action on Salsa in Australia and New Zealand and now in Hanoi the capital of Vietnam.they have their own annual international Salsa festival. This is without any help from Trump. A Latino dance festival, “Salsa Holidays,” was hosted at the Sheraton Hotel, in Hanoi. And as a special treat, foreign dancers, including Canadian and Australia have entries. This is a very new regime that's for sure. The event includes an opening ceremony with seminars, dance parties and Salsa lovers have a chance to enjoy salsa dance performances and take part in a course guided by world renowned dancers and instructors.

“Social dancers have it often, that all important moment in movement. They must make the moment important, vital, and worth living and not let it slip away unnoticed and unused.

We are getting some glitzy Salsa in Hawaii and those of you that think the golden days of salsa are in the past, what's going on here will show you just how wrong you are. It's still very much alive, and kicking like a mule. The above is definitely on the upbeat. But in New York many of the hot Salsa Clubs have folded, and the movement is traveling West. Could be in Hawaii by next year. Fortunately Bachata seems to be doing all right. And Zouk and Zumba are waiting in the wings. So what do I know?

“Social dancers know that at the Palladium, a lie can travel twice around
the ballroom while the truth is just getting up the stairs.”
