Blogging? Who and What for?

To begin with, Everybody! However, we understand that this cannot be possible. But blogging can do a lot of good for a lot of people including the bloggers themselves.

"The value of truth is absolutely independent of the fame or
station of the person who gave it to the world."

How about the blog itself? It gains from the very fact that the blog has a new opinion, a new face, a new voice and automatically applies synergism to the entire readership. It is not S.O.S. which in blogging stands for Same Old S---.

So that at the same time it is doubly good for the reader/dancers of the blog. And it also benefits all the others connected to the blog for the diverse views that are published. It may even introduce new people via the photos submitted. It is a win-win situation all around and makes it undoubtedly social media.

Blogging is often recommended for those looking to improve their public speaking skill. Working on a blog is a way of developing your own voice. While your writing skill may improve over time, your speaking skill will also improve. Your ability to listen, assess and conclude on a given topic will aid you in decision-making in other areas of your work, dancing and personal life. The skill required for researching a given topic will also improve, and that is a skill that can be applied to any given topic in your personal dancing and professional life.

To begin with on this blog, all we need is a little information of your favorite dance scene at a dance function. Just like talking to a friend about something that happened at yesterdays dance. A couple of photos would surely enhance any topic. Similar to  gossip but out in the open, none of this sneaky, whispering, lying crap, you know da kine.

The Negative side is to accept that some people would rather not. And we should have no other recourse but to respect their opinions. They want to be left alone and we will do that. Meanwhile we have much to be done and it is all ahead of us.

I have tried for several years to have more bloggers in this blog from the International to give them the opportunity "in defense" but they are not interested so we must accept. But Calvin has been doing a  great job of it. Now I am looking for any bloggers, period. And the destination Is full independence.

Two administrators (for back up) plus two or three Guest Authors and they will be ready. This is the one most likely because it is so far ahead from any other dance blog but I am also grooming Oahu and Beyond. They are both in town so there is plenty of action to cover. And we are gradually introducing Oahu And Beyond to the neighbor islands.

Pub's Side Note: Ordinary Communication Media; To whom it may concern, one way, newsletters, email flyers, web sites. They do their job but nuttin' like a blog.
