The Information Contributor

I know they are out there but I have to make more of an effort to contact them. The entire blogosphere needs all the diverse opinions that are out there. The Creative Researchers And  Producers are on their way out. They no longer have the clout and the clubs where they were the heaviest is where they are losing the most.

"Truth stood on one side and Ease on the other; it has often been so."

The Information Contributors put themselves out in front. Why should they spend time writing free content for someone else? In our social media it is sharing with your fellow dancers and there are many out there that would be willing. In our blogs no one is making any money, and Blogger provides the blog for free, so we just have to keep looking.

Since these posts would be attributed to the Information Contributor, an entire audience that may vaguely recognize the content writer will suddenly be more aware of him or her and their dance connections. This alone makes it a valuable marketing tool, but that’s not all there is to it.

"That's All You Gotta Do" - Brenda Lee

The top blogs at the moment are Town Dancer (naturally) followed by Oahu And Beyond, Ewa Bus Stop and Oahu - West. These are safely beyond the requirements of 34 average hits per day. (1000 per month) An Information Contributor with a few photos now and then would make a big difference for any one of these blogs to make them number two and right behind Town Dancer. The Hits?

The hits are increasingly coming from the neighbor islands and even the Pacific Rim, mainly in Town Dancer and Oahu And Beyond.  So take your pick, you can share just your unique opinion, with more than just dancers on this island and whichever blog you choose, it will roll. This particular blog covers the section from Kapolei to Mapunapuna. Plenty there to build up too.

"There Is Something On Your Mind" - Bobby Marchan

It can also directly drive traffic to the content writer’s connected websites! Anyone who owns a website knows that a website without traffic is worthless. Traffic is undoubtedly valuable. This is a great, legitimate, and inexpensive way to get some extra traffic. But that’s not even the best part. The link does more than drive traffic. It makes your center of dancing more important to our dance world as a whole. Plus, they tend to be permanent, so each one will continue to help for an extended period of time.

My calendar is shaping up to try and do the most good for these blogs. I plan on going to the HBDA Review on Saturday and perhaps get a few photos and make a short write up. The West has gotta get  going. If I do my little part we will have people coming from the Turtle Bay Hilton to dance here among such nice people.
