Looking a little bettah

Several years back I wanted a little help for the blogs which were not going up in hits as fast as before. I enlisted some free hits in several organizations. It took over a month and then the hits began to arrive to send blogs hits up into the stratosphere.

"Friends, if we be honest with ourselves, we shall be honest with each other."

I soon saw that I did not want that and I notified them all to turn it off. It took a while and it was soon apparent that it was working. From a high of over 200 average hits per day for all the blogs, they came down to less than one hundred in less than a month. But I was sure of getting "legit" hits in all our blogs and I wanted everyone to know that I did not want "store bought" hits even if I don't have to pay for them.

"I'll Walk Alone" - Dinah Shore

Nevertheless, our non-violent guerrilla warfare for the benefit of the dancers in our island community continues. I have now over diluted the readership available on this island at present. But I handle each blog differently and I hope the best ones will eventually emerge with the help of the Guest Authors.

They will be the determining factors. The Guest Authors may choose a blog with a ready made audience (plenty hits.) Or they may choose an upcoming one in their sector and realize that "they" are helping to build it up.

"Smoke! Smoke! Smoke! (That Cigarette)" - Tex Williams

For now hundreds of factions have gathered around and we are finding the ones that have their own agenda and would rather not have any connection with us. We will respect and dismantle any parts that are still connecting in error. They have made the decision, not us. We can concentrate on the parts of the "empire" where they understand that we are helping them and we can go all out for them.

It will take an awful lot of the good people/dancers out there. It will be for those that have the courage, the humor and energy to help their fellow dancers and all the potential new ones that are waiting in the wings. There are at least one hundred potential Guest Authors out there and at least half of them know it.

More opinions of course are desperately needed by the entire community. It cannot be dictated by the "leaders." Gradually we have been getting rid of the horrible cliques that had been running the entire dance community into the ground. To paraphrase, "Dancers, arise, you have nothing to lose but your chains."

It will take time, yes I know, not in my lifetime.

"You must change with the times - unless your are big enough to change the times."
