Line Dancing Rerun #42

There has been little line dancing on the Waianae Coast, off and on for 20 years but always fizzles out. The last I heard was at Pililaau Park. And even they even had Salsa on Saturday night at Tacos And More. So the interest in dancing has been sporadic but I believe the time has come and there will be places where they don't roll up the streets early.  The bedroom communities are definitely not the answer. First come the places where we can work nearby and not have to spend half our day in commute. You think we got it bad now, cheer up, the worst is yet to come.

"I believe that everything happens for a reason -- People change so that you can learn to
let go -- things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right -- you believe
lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself -- and sometimes good
things  fall apart so better things can fall together."

Line Dancing is one of the most fun movements to music in existence. For beginners the best because they do not need a partner. Men as a rule do not realize it but they can learn to move to music that is normally played at partner dances. And they will learn many of the basic movements of dance, period. They will try to mimic their good fellow dancers and like all the rest of the dancers will develop their own style. From there it is skip and a jump to partner dancing.

For all it will become a social thing because you will be meeting so many nice people with a common interest, the dance. It can and is danced in bars across the nation. With a little room, you can lay down some leather and have a little fun with your beer.
