Holding Steady

"The sad truth is most bloggers, even those who incessantly work on monetization
strategies, end up sitting around the few dollars a day mark and find it difficult
to rise above this level. Fortunately, our blogs are not in it for the money."

There seems to be an increase in "free" advertising in many blogs and even web sites and which is accepted by everyone in the social dance scene on Oahu. No hu hu. We get some email flyers with devastating announcements and they help but they are all "to whom it may concern." That is not our social media. Our blogs will be social media and it looks like it will take a while for that to sink in. Well, what is social media? We have been trying but very few pay attention. We will go slow, I do not wish to repeat myself too often. We will be patient.

“Social dancers seem to be totally aware of themselves and dance their way
in a manner as decided by their hearts."

So far our best bet for West Oahu is the Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club. And the results are being seen, for Wahiawa will be leading the dance scene in West Oahu. But in this endeavor for social dancing there has to be kokua from every one on both sides of the street. And we are getting some good kokua from some. Patience..There will be others when they become aware of what constitutes Social Media. They will contribute very nicely to the presentation of dancing in the West. The hits will go through the roof and the membership in these chapters will increase greatly. Mililani?

"Release Me" by Wilson Phillips 1990

I don’t have the facility to go to all the places I would like to visit and blog'em. And for some reason they cannot Email me any photos either. Maybe one day soon, our reader/dancers will realize that all you have to do is email a little information and some photos to share with our fellow dancers. No commitments only when you wish and I can blog'em. The hits will go through the roof. Synergy will take care of the other two and all we have left to say is Aloha.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit.
No use being a damn fool about it.”
