Looking Better All The Time

Most of us who have been in the dance scene for a while have said things that people interpreted much differently than we thought they would. These seemingly benign comments lead to the awful feeling that only comes when you’ve planted your foot firmly into your mouth. Verbal slip-ups often occur because we say things without a full knowledge of the subtle implications they may carry. Understanding these implications requires social awareness—the ability to pick up on the emotions and experiences of other people.

“Social dancers believe we are designed to dance. To use our bodies as patterns of grace,
beauty and intrigue. We are designed to stretch until we master growth. To replace
old dead cells and be physically renewed each moment of the dance."

For now we will just let it ride. There are other people that are holding their opinion in the same plateau and they hesitate to contribute an opinion to our blogs that may be misunderstood. Therefore the first ingredient lacking in our dance blogs is the feedback from the reader/dancers willing to share with our fellow dancers. The second ingredient lacking is the key photos. "Your" five to seven favorite people, with names, the dance occasion and the location. A few words for comment would be icing on the cake. The hits would go through the roof, guaranteed.

We just cannot find anyone to share with our reader/dancers We do have a limit for most of our readers are residents of Oahu, And we all aware, Facebook has 50 million photos submitted daily. Can you imagine the time it would take to do them justice. We are not likely to be seen in Nigeria. We are lucky is someone reads us in Makaha or Kaonohe. I am very busy and the The Gold Mine photos still awaits our reader/dancers. Good dances coming up for Valentines Day.

"Having been blogging for quite some time, I have come to identify that blogging is
an obsession. A blog is a site where ideas and opinions are meshed together."
