The Merry Month of May

May is turning out to be a nice month of holidays for the social dancers on the Island of Oahu. Party, Party, Party - May 1st, Pole dancing, - May 5 Cinco de Mayo, - May 11 Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club Anniversary dance, - May 12 Mother's Day, - May 18 Aiea Ballroom Dance Association Anniversary dance, - May 27 Memorial Day. And West Oahu is doing just fine.

"Social dancers know that nothing can beat a good Cha Cha Cha to lift both
one’s heart-rate and spirits, just moving to that great beat."

It was first mentioned last year when there were definite indications that the Dance Pavilion in Waipio at the Patsy Mink Recreation Park would be cancelled to pay for the Rail Disaster. The issue is no longer in doubt and West Oahu is going to be in a very bad state because of the Rail Catastrophe. In fact the entire state will be stuck for Big Bucks. The original estimates for the costs on the Rail were 5 billion, and now increasing daily as the Unions and Caldwell figure how to get more money out of it.

They are making millions and millions of dollars daily. No one knows what happened to the first Billion. They will not permit it. Now it could go to fifteen Billion Dollars. We have all noticed that the price of everything is going up. A dozen eggs, a loaf of bread will be 5 dollars. Milk will be 10 dollars per gallon. Ha, fortunately we are all rich and can afford it. Cayetano was right, but they spent ten million dollars to lie about him and "we, the people" lost the election. No one mentions Rapid Transit anymore because it is going to take longer to get from Makaha to Honolulu Hale.

"The truth is that hate speech is only to those who have something to hide."
