Bus or Train?

Good News, Caldwell losing ground.
Proven fact, people would rather ride a bus, than a rail train. New buses are coming out with mentions of "leg room." This had never happened before when passengers were considered in the same class as cattle.

"If you want to get ahead, make sure you use the one you have."

Now in the 21st century, they are beginning to be regarded as human beings with likes and dislikes. The biggest dislike of course is standing up. Much much better is sitting down. Not generally taken into consideration by those in the ivory towers in Honolulu.

A person that lives in Makaha that is able to ride comfortably on a bus to town, would do so, but not if he has to stand all the way. Mo bettah the car. The nightmare at present on #40 bus is a good example. Everyone on those buses is thinking the same thing. "When  I  get my car" or "I have to get a car, so I don't have to put up with this crap."

Desperately needed on the Waianae Coast. Horrible bus situation. Never before seen.

Some are thinking out loud, especially when the driver of the bus stands up and says, "Come on folks, step back, we gotta get seven more people in here." This is our present Department of Transportation.

In Honolulu, the results are that we are getting people off public transportation and onto the streets and highways with their automobiles. Throughout the mainland organizations are trying to get people out of the cars and off the streets and highways and onto public transportation. Somebody has got this backwards. Just ten well place tandem buses in that corridor and everyone would see the difference. No standing and there would be lot of cars missing from in front of each bus. The drivers would be sitting in the bus.

Ten Billion dollars for a Rail, doesn't bother anyone at the Department of Transportation. Property Taxes will go up, of course. Gasoline taxes at least 50 cents per gallon. The rich ain't gonna pay, you heard Romney? General Excise Tax goes to 10% But some still want to be making Billions and Billions of dollars in Profits. Guess who?
