As human beings, our job in life could be to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us is. Each of us has something no one else has or ever will have - something inside that is unique to all time. And your view point from that side of the dance floor is sure to be different than mine. It could also be part of our lives to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.
"You were not put here on this earth to simply break even.
You are here to break rules, break records, and break through."
Probably the greatest cellist that has ever lived, Pablo Casals. was asked why he continued to practice at the age of 90. He replied, "Porque creo que estoy haciendo progreso."
(Because I think I am making progress.)
Hey, that's ma' man.
I am not all doom and gloom about the situation. Public Relations has the most valid underpinnings for success in our endeavor. Our aptitude and appetite for qualitative research is second to none and we make progress to connect to opinion leaders to acquire insights about perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors that analytics can’t.
We just need the Two Centers and their unique opinions, a great start. Technology can’t replicate the quality human connections or metaphysical experiences that people crave and that will become even more evident as this machine age advances.
