Ricks and Racks

Seems as though the Neighbor Islands are beginning to take notice of dancing on the island of Oahu. The smash hit of the latest from Calvin and Debra is a clincher. Of course, Cal, Debra and everyone else are all fortunate to have Jackson Cho in the photography sector willing to share with fellow dancers. The hits on Town Dancer are going through the roof. Tune in for a look-see and you will believe.

"Whether you're trying to learn something new or survive a ton of criticism, sometimes life just hands you lemons. Whatever it is, though, you'll be better off in the end. A smooth sea never made a skillful sailor."

All of these things rub off on the rest of our blogosphere and now we are getting to be noticed in Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Google+. I do not want to get into any more. Most of our Two Centers will be coming from that sector. They are already accustomed to posting somewhere.

Two fonts walk into a Salsa Club in Waikiki. The bartender immediately informs them, "Sorry we don't serve your type in here."

Good News: American Tango has now been recognized as a Tango by Argentines. It was about time. They have nine versions themselves. They can see that the American Tango can be included as another version too? Then I look forward to the fusion of the American Tango with the Filipino Tango in the very near future.

A Beautiful Quotation Straight From The Heart

"Listen to the different orchestras. You have to begin by loving tango, to let it go into your veins, until it arrives to your heart. And then, to seek a good teacher. Go to the milongas and dance with different people. Even if you are dating somebody, he has to dance with different women and you have to dance with different men. This way you learn to dance."
Maria Nieves, tanguera.
