It is a sad truth that people cannot like you for just you. And that they can be easily persuaded to believe anything, and some may even enjoy participating in the story line of a good bit of gossip. So how are we to cope?

In gossip no one seems to know where the "truth" originated. Many suspect that it is a lie but still repeat it. Case in Point, "The famous Creative Researchers And Producers." In Social Blogging we know exactly where it's coming from. And everyone that expresses their opinions in our blogs will have it identified with their name. How are we to respond without becoming a part of it?
"El Dia Que Me Quieras" by Carlos Gardel
The Two Center for the most part merely contributes a photo and that is one person's opinion of who they wish to be pictured in the blog. If they make any kind of statement, it is their opinion of what they wanted to say. That is the big value of the Two Center. We, the reader/dancers get the benefit and it is all up front.

Pub's Side Note: In Hawaii, dance blogs are enabling hundreds of dancers to express their opinions with reduced political risk simply because of the sheer number of like-minded opinions online. Facing these independent voices, the old clique machine starts to crumble.
