Divino Ritmo's V-day dance was a happening!

Sarah said, "That was the best Valentines Day Dance ever!" I approve that assessment.

We were newbies to Divino Ritmo's  DanceSportCenter. I have been wanting  to check it out. The promise of live music (my preference) on Valentine's Day reeled us in.

Wow. The dance floor is huge and the seating very comfortable, the atmosphere friendly and chummy. We had a foursome and shared a table w/3 other dancers.

There were  some very yummy offerings and refreshments (water/juice). You are allowed to bring your own preferred pupus/refreshments which worked for us.

V-day is also Lucas's B-day and celebrated w/an ono cake. Hardly any candles on it. My cake would look like the "Towering Inferno."

 Rolando is usually Latin based but his band also plays Ballroom tempos. The floor was filled w/wonderful dancing all night long.

There was a Belly Dance during one of the breaks. That's something you don't see everyday. How does she move like that? If I tried I'd end up in traction. There's a reason I wear slip ons.

The good news is that DR will be offering monthly live music socials. The March event will reprise Rolando so mark your calendars for March 21, 2015. 6:30-10:30.
