Line Dancers

We certainly don't get much publicity from Line Dancers. Some have a very private attitude and I think they have a perfect right to it. However, there may be others interested in a more public acceptance and of getting into social media for the good of everyone.

We are here to provide a platform and you use it as you see fit. Like all other Two Centers, you can contribute photos and comments by email, which will be in the contributors name. Easy and simple. Later on whenever anyone of you is ready you can become a Guest Author and get in, publish and get out without saying "boo" to anyone.

The Line dancers do not need partners but have structured routines. And many find these routines pleasantly challenging with all the good side effects of moving to music. The advantage for all beginners is that you become accustomed to the same music used in social partner dancing. Many are the same moves to the same music. And since you have no partner you develop you own particular style of each dance which is the essence of social, recreational dance.

Of course, in line dancing there are an overwhelming amount of women, five to seven women to every man. And they resist publicity. A pressing problem, with no solution in sight. But there are some people out there that are working for a solution. And hopefully there will be more acceptance of line dancing in the over all social dance scene.
