“Success is what you attract by the person you become.”
But the old good stuff is also getting better. specially for me. I rarely save any music, but if I can get the song video, that's it! And I have two different album set ups, one of the different singers, Linda Rondstad or Englebert Humperdinck for instance. And one of a study of a classic pretty much in chronological order, perhaps five or six of the same song, different versions. I can put them in my video section on my computer, and it has the button "Play All" and I can see and listen to about 15, 20 minutes of beautiful music while sipping on a Rum and Coke.
"Blue Bayou" by Linda Rondstadt
In Europe they are getting more dancers into Nightclubbing. However they are also getting more places to dance and that dilutes the available dancers. Some Night Clubs even have a day in the week when no liquor is sold at all and it gets packed. Amazing, could never happen on Oahu. Regular Nightclubbers are funny that way.
"Spanish Eyes" by Englebert Humperdinck
It is still the same old story of asking the lady for a dance, because it’s a great icebreaker. The reason she’s talking to him, is that he gave her a reason to talk to him. He broke the ice. But there is no easier icebreaker than dancing up to her. You don’t even have to have a great first line. It projects confidence, You don’t have to be a great dancer to dance. In fact, the worse you are proves how comfortable you are in your own skin. Doing a dance move like the Running Man over and over again shows women that you don’t care what people think. (We don't necessarily condone the Running Man -- but it's better than nothing.)
"Maui Waltz" by Loyal Garner
And the entire dance scene on Oahu is looking better all the time. Let's get with it and share some of it with our reader/dancers. You don't even have to use your name, a pen name is good enough.
