I have been doing it for some time and I still don't know. Men can go look for someone who just got divorced. They will not be afraid of a good time. If they go for single girl who's never been married she may just leave with friends. A divorced woman will have her friends rooting for her to go home with him. Depends on the night club. Some might have sex, - dance, - be obnoxious whatever. Personally, I prefer dance clubs for experience dancers....those are the best. Women - the majority go to have fun with other women, drink, and dance. They also go to tease men a bit, but more often they want to be left alone to have fun.
Men - the majority believe they go to drink, dance and meet women, but social dancers dance because they like to dance. It may also show that they are outgoing and perhaps be more attractive to women. The reality is that women aren't there generally to pick up men, they are there to have a good time, so some men may feel rejected and unlucky if they go with that expectation. The solution is to go to clubs to have fun, but don't expect a pick up. Thus, clubs are for fun if that is something you enjoy. But there are better ways to spend a night, that is for sure,
Too much drinking and talking are silly in a club .... its too expensive and too loud to do much of either. Dancers have a long time reputation of not being drunks. Small talk just to be sociable is nice. Dancing would be the key ..... they have a better sound system than you do, and hopefully you're at the club because they have good music you want to hear. I suppose it can be a fun place to be high, especially if you dig dancing high, but if you miss-dose it can easily be just a loud obnoxious place full of idiots. That's my take .... I've noticed a lot of some people seem to be at the club to show off, or pick-up, or get in fights .... luckily its too loud to have to talk to them. And fortunately on Oahu there plenty of good clubs.
