Clubs for the Young Crowd in Japan

Before the shutdown, the young people were having a ball dancing in Night Clubs. The DJ chose the music, and mixed his or her own special blend of "house music." The young crowd would drink and dance and perhaps have a few pupus. In those days, the place was not called a disco but a "club," pronounced "kurabu," with equal stress on each of the three syllables. I have read little about this phenomenon featuring the club scene and music but it is interesting.

"Most social dancers agree that we bloggers never make mistrakes."

Some say that the club atmosphere varied, depending on the event and the DJ. Some things that varied were the music (techno, hip-hop or whatever), the average age of the dancers, the clothes and the type of dancing. Dance steps were different too; some dancers were wildly energetic, while others swayed gently back and forth. One exception was the popular para-para dance seen in some clubs. Everyone on the floor followed the same choreography - most of the movements were slight, except for the arms, which seem to be doing all the dancing. The style, unique to Japan, drew on traditions of the Bon dance and the street phenomenon, the Takenoko-zoku.

A very few of our fellow dancers were so honest, so good, so upright, they were so right and they couldn’t have been more wrong. They judged, they lied and they may have lied to destroy. That was their M.O. (modus operandi) As Ann Landers use to say, "that is the way they got their jollies." The shut down has brought all the dancers closer together. The Creative Researchers And Producers may be on the way out?

You say the Trump Liar is a duck? Well, shut the duck up.
