Da Newest

Yes I know, I am spreading myself too thin and I need information from reader/dancers for our reader/dancers. Simple? So I let things slide and I go where it is the easiest. I try to avoid the ones that are too much trouble. Simple? Studios, what studios?

"Everything in the universe has rhythm; Everything dances."
~ Maya Angelou

And I just met another of those guys that think all dancers are the same and he doesn't like "Ballroom dancers." He told it to my Cat too and my Cat didn't like it. Photo on the right.

Dance Studios are a very necessary part of the world of dancing. We can learn to dance "on the street" but it is much faster from an experienced teacher and you do get more standardized moves which are compatible with your fellow dancers.

We are not talking about exhibition or competition or any of the other kind of dances that are meant to be seen. We are talking about the Universal dancer that dances for the pure love of moving to the music of their choice.

"Head To Toe" by Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam

Dancesport is the official name given to the sport of competitive Ballroom Dancing. And there are several other interpretations. -- First person: I definitely think it is a sport. - Second person: I definitely think it is an art. - Third person: For me, it's a struggle.

Whatever, competition and show business are fusing, because they are meant to be seen. And what they do is their business and we can respect. It is not the same as Universal dancing and that comes closer from the American and Country styles than International.

"Often the only thing standing between a person and their dreams is the will
to do what is necessary and the faith to believe it is possible. "

Now the most cooperative dance studio that we have come across in the last ten years is the Dream to Dance Studio. The others are very difficult and show little interest in what we are doing. They do not have the foggiest idea of blogging benefits. Many of their people are referred to as the Rootzi - Tootzis with good reason. They think they are hot, about right for Time or Newsweek magazine but certainly not blogging. Ha!

Therefore the logical conclusion is to help Dream To Dance studio and everyone should understand how we arrived at that "delusion." Meanwhile, I am open to suggestions, my door remains open and it still says, "Welcome." Happy Dancing.
