A INVITATION FROM INSTRUCTOR, CAROL KOHAGURA!

Aloha all,
Hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to start moving again. I know I do after all the eating we did during Christmas and New Year's. Just a friendly reminder -- first line dance session for 2014 starts this Wednesday, Jan 8. Hope to see you there!
Carol

Cost: $10.00 per person for 6 weeks from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, every Wednesday at the Wahiawa Recreation Center, Hale Hookipa Room. WBDC membership - $5.00 per person per calendar year!

SEE YA!

Maile

We expect to see a lot more line dancers this year and we certainly do mean "beginners." What do they learn? First becoming accustomed the usual music that is used in our type of recreational dancing. If you have to have Rap Waltz this isn't it.

Second you learn the kinds of dancing we do in social dancing. It is not Hawaiian, and most of us realize we can only say good things about Hawaiian. But it is not us. And you will learn the two Divisions of our Recreational Dancing. The Caucasian and the Latin. No Hu Hu, just acceptance of each's territory.

From there everyone just puts it together and since you have no partner you develop your own unique styling. This is specially helpful for men. When you are ready, you can go into partner dancing and it will be just a skip and a jump. You will be moving to the music of your choice and having a terrific time.
