So What Snew?

Doesn't look too bad, the Stats show the hits creeping up, slowly but surely. The Rail Disaster is a growing problem with the increasing realization of the Noise. Places to dance in the West are going to be hard to find. And we must avoid getting within three or four blocks from the Rail Noise. This a ten year drag, Many are already there and willing to wait on you hand and foot. However, it will cost you an arm and a leg.

"Most people achieve their greatest success one step beyond
what looked like their greatest failure."

The Dance Pavilion in Waipio has been cancelled, not officially but they need the money to pay for the Rail Catastrophe. More people are also accepting the fact that our type of dancing and our present social groups do not need acres and acres of dance floor. So there may be a way a couple of clubs could get together and install a nice dance floor in a good sized Community Center or District Park and hope the monthly cost could be held down. This has been done on the mainland

The best dance floor in the West remains at the Waianae District Park. The prospects would be very favorable for a new Dance Club in the Kalihi - Salt Lake area and one in the Honokai Hale - Nanakuli area. HBDA is doing quite well in the area where they are at now with Kapolei Chapter and Ewa Chapter and are even going to get bigger. The West is getting to be wide open. No need to get into the Honolulu Traffic.

Some people already comment on leaving a dance function in the West and getting home in 20 minutes. A function in town will take you 20 minutes to get out of the parking area. And more people are becoming aware of all this. The Rail Crisis will cost way too much money but we are all learning in the process. Somebody made a huge mistake somewhere.

Pub's Side Note: $100 worth two lowest places. DC, $84.60, and Hawaii $85.32. And the Fed money for the Rail Crisis is running out and Hawaii will be at the bottom of the 50 states. Lucky we all rich.
