Progress

The Waianae Coast is progressing, too bad so many that could help are dragging their feet. We must get legislators that are for the people and not for the ones that are contributing the big bucks for their campaign. Tough to do, we all know that.

"Nobody is perfect - if someone is having a bad day, give them
a little room to be human. It may pass in a short while."

O’ahu cannot afford to lose any more farm land is true, and Lualualei has some good soil for farming that has never been used for agriculture in five thousand years. You know how much the owners want in rent for farming? Auwe! Fortunately many are becoming aware of the rail "cancer," and the misnamed, "Rapid Transit."

The Beautiful Articulated Bus. The number 93, today can get you
from Makaha to Honolulu Hale in one and a half hours. And I
could get it right around the corner. "Rapid Transit" and
their Rail Stations will never beat that in a million years.

The latest estimates on the Rail Fiasco have gone up to Seven Billion Dollars. What happened? Easy money, it's the bread, Fred. The entire island is becoming aware that the citizens on the Wai’anae Coast definitely do not want to spend half their working day in commuting to Mecca in downtown Honolulu.

The proposed site of the industrial development in Lualualei is known as the birthplace of Maui, the Demigod, one of the great heroes and deities in Hawaiian legends. And now constructing an industrial park on this site would be a tribute to the people of this cultural significant area. Why? Because it is for the people. "And I coulda been home in 20 minutes."

Was this guy talking about the Present Rail Party?

"You can con some of the people all of the time. and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot con all of the people all the time."
