"An ounce of practice is generally worth more than a ton of theory."
There are many practical and elementary moves in dancing that are used by all social dancers. In social dancing no one really practices. They just dance tonight, tomorrow night and the next night and all that fun adds up to learning to dance for your own benefit and no one else. So it will happen that your partners are also having fun. That's it.
"Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon & Garfunkel
This is evolving into a blog for those that dance socially and gain pleasure from knowing many rhythms and types of dance generally accepted on this Island. We do not intend to burden anyone with advanced descriptions or instructions for the Exhibition and Competition Dancers. They are very well covered elsewhere.
"It's Too Late" by Carole King
Our readers are those that we will be covering in this blog along with the social aspects which is where all the fun is. The addition of photos does complete the blog picture. We have not set anything on stone and the Guest Authors will be the ones to eventually define this blog. Good Luck to all of you.
