Crowne Plaza Hotel, Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The Crowne Plaza Hotel, with its many amenities, serves as the competition site from Friday, June 29th to Sunday, July 1st. The hotel is located minutes away from the airport. One of the nicest features of the hotel is its beautiful 15,000 square foot ballroom where the dancing takes place on a 76 X 44 foot floating hardwood dance floor, (bigger than the Palladium.) A smaller practice floor of the same quality is also available for competitors. Spacious dressing room facilities are available very near the ballroom and the hotel offers ample free parking. Within minutes from the hotel are many excellent eating establishments, shopping areas and more.

According to email from Calvin and Debra Ota, a total of nine couples from Hawaii have arrived at Baton Rouge, Louisiana to compete. Competitions: Friday, daytime and evening time, Saturday, daytime and evening time, Sunday, daytime only. We know they will do well. They may not be social dancers in our class, but let us make no mistake, these people are dancers.
