Ain't Nobody got da Stats like I do, Nobody! I just use the total hits and from there I design my own stats. I have all my blogs plus one good outsider in a spreadsheet program. I am very fortunate that all of the organizations in my stats use the Blogger Google Analytics so they are more or less the same. I don't worry about the algorithms which do change at times but they affect the entire blogosphere so it is easily understandable.
"Social dancers try to stop thinking about the steps. There are no moves in dance, only movement. Just listen to the music and let yourself move.”
The fact that I had over diluted the readership with the increase in blogs is important only if the format remains the same. I have now reduced mine to five blogs. The Two-Centers are still the answer. The advantage of hit counters is that many are free, easy to install, and can be graphically altered to fit in with the feel of your site. If you do not want the hits to be seen you can specify that. With the large amount of Web and Blog sites in our blog stats, I can guess that Dance Web sites in Hawaii get single digit average hits per day.
