Of course, our readers don't have much choice if there is no dance news in this blog. When it comes to the chicken or the egg, most of us in blogging know that the news comes first, then the readers. Not the other way around. The photo contributors are crucial to start the communication sharing with our fellow dancers. If we cannot get the news, then it is pau, fini, kaput, over and out. The reader/dancers will read the blogs wherever they can see some action.
In Hawaii’s most populated Island, Oahu, nightlife is a must. From live music to late-night diners, dancing, karaoke and specialty bars, Oahu has them all. Most are in Honolulu, but only one third of the people on Oahu live in Honolulu. All over the Island, you can put on your best outfit and get ready for a night you’ll want to remember. If Wine is your preference Honolulu is your best bet. specials throughout the week. Karoake is also better in town and you can sing your heart out. However for just beer drinkers or those that like their drinks mixed, you can find bars all around the island and many of them nice looking places with nice people attending.
Then the defining position in which a bar can find itself as a night club. A Dance Floor, and no one has ever specified the size. But needless to say a ten by ten floor is not a Dance Floor. From there the next item of difference is DJ music or a live band. You can dance more with the DJ non stop music, you will hear the latest hits and there may be a younger crowd. Live Band music may cost a little more, you may dance less but for the more experienced social dancers it is much better because they hear more of the oldies but goodies and with intermissions they have more time to socialize.
