The Evolution

We are still waiting for photos. That is the easiest of the dance items of our dance environment to be shared with our fellow dancers. They do pretty good in town with good photographers but how about the outskirts? Farrington Highway or Kamehameha Highway along the Southwest shore. How about the Waianae Coast or the North Shore. The amateur photographers in our groups are very good and photos of our fellow dancers look very nice in our blogs. The readers would appreciate, the Photees would like it and it would not do any harm to the clubs.

“Social dancers sometimes find themselves enjoying the lyrics too much
and forget to move and dance to the music.”

With the addition of contributing an occasional item of interest the Two Centers could develop into a Guest Blogger. Then they could have a blog of their own within the blog with ready-made readers. They could get in, post photos, write a paragraph, save it, publish it and get out without saying boo to anyone. It would be theirs. Our reader/dancers are more dancers than readers and have short attention spans. Words could be short, and fortunately some that have been contributed have been have been about dancing and though a little long, turned up very interesting. There are no hard and fast rules and the entire enchilada is coming into focus.

"Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper  (1984)

Latin on the Southwest is looking good. There is some new action in Kapolei, Kalealoa, Ewa Beach. Some nightclubbing action which means a nice social dance club in Kalealoa. Maili on the Waianae Coast has line dance classes now and then. Most places in town are doing very well. Those that are not doing well could look into moving to the outskirts of town. Rome was not built in a day so we must be patient, we should accept that it will evolve according to the wishes of the dancers.

"Social dancers know that true beauty is about who you are as
a human being, your principles, your moral compass.”
