Update on West Oahu

So far this year with moving to Mililani, I have been making a pretty good investigation of web and blog communications in Hawaii and coming up with some solid stats. I will take a back seat for no one. I am always willing to listen but no one can look down their noses and give me some "sage" advice. Though many do not have counters (cannot blame them, no hits) those that do, provide fairly good feedback for everyone. The entire enchilada is evolving. At five blogs of mine, plus five other independent blogs we have the dance information on this island pretty well cover

"Social Dancers do believe that the art of dance is closest in form to music
and theater, though their interest is far different."

I can blog, but I am limited in what I can do. Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club is my best example. Blogging them has been some of the best in the Pacific because of the help I get. Can it be better? Of course and that is where all of you come in. And the photos are a big big help in making a blog of a dance party. I have fumbleitis so I cannot take the photos. Fortunately I have been getting some terrific help at Wahiawa to share whatever photos we can get with our readers of the blogs. The counters on the blogs go through the roof. Anyone else willing to test me out?

I can see the need for dancing on the Waianae Coast, on the North Shore and in the Central Valley where I live. Wahiawa is the center of dance night life in the Central Valley. Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club is leading with Dot's in Wahiawa, a restaurant beginning with some good night club environment. And there is a new one starting out with a Salsa venue. Kapolei coulda been second city but the Honolulu Fat Cats want the money for Honolulu, so they went for the rail and stopped everything else. The Rail hasn't done any good for the Southern Corridor either.
