Studio Dancing

A full month ago, there was a three way tie, of the best states staying clear of the Trump Pandemic. Alaska, Hawaii and West Virginia. Today it is Alaska and West Virginia. Wot happened? We got Trumpanzees with RIGHTS on Oahu and they don't have to wear masks. Clusters of contamination in Aiea, Pearl City and Ewa Beach. The cases are still going up and of course the deaths. Now, with the schools opening up, the issue is definitely in doubt. Trumpanzees, and teachers, kids, relatives, neighbors, friends. We are in deep doo doo.

“Social dancers believe that hope may be the power of being cheerful
in circumstances that we know to be somewhat desperate.”

However we are getting some information on West Virginia. Studios in West Virginia are very cautious and dancers presenting with a temperature > 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will not be allow in. Masks will be required for everyone and they ask a respect for social distance. They require you to wash your hands from the very beginning. There will periodic sanitizing of the hands during the course of the evening. As the studio will not be providing water bottles, they ask that you bring your own personal water bottle.

The water fountain may be used only as a place to refill your water bottle. Only one person shall be allowed at the water fountain at a time, therefore if someone else is using the fountain, they ask that you practice safe social distancing while awaiting your turn. There will be a limited number of places where you can sit. They also ask that you do not bring any food or snacks into the studio. Are we getting any hints of what we look forward to.

“Social dancers do wonder, that at what point do we give up - decide enough is enough?
There is only one answer really. Never.”
