Nanakuli Commercial Center

This $20 million Nanakuli Commercial Center is a collaboration between Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead Community Association, HCDB, and broker Sofos Realty Corporation. This in spite of the continued interference by the Present Rail Party.

"You can bull shit some of the people all the time, and you can bull
shit all of the people some of the time, but you cannot bull shit
all the people  all the time." Who said that?

The planning and construction of this large multi-building retail/health services commercial project is complete. Fronting Farrington Highway, this new "one story" shopping center will have a Hawaiian cultural plantation theme motif. (They are not yet aware that this is the 21st century on the Waianae Coast too.)

Anchor tenant is Longs Drug Store. It's stand alone store will have a drive-thru window. Smaller tenants may include an Goodwill training and clothing outlet, L&L Restaurant, SuperCuts, Mobi PCS, pizza parlor, Hawaiian food restaurant, sushi restaurant, surf shop, clothing store, yogurt outlet, coffee store, or nail salon.

The community owned and run Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center will be building a 16,000 sq. ft. "two story," (these people are hep) stand alone facility that may house a pediatric dental clinic, an adult medical clinic, and low-cost pharmacy. With the many health and dental problems plaguing our Hawaiian families in Nanakuli and Waianae coast, the need for such a centrally located and readily accessible health center is quite apparent.

The high class is griping about the many minimum wage jobs. They just don't realize that minimum wage in Nanakuli is worth ten times what it is worth in Honolulu. And I coulda got home in 20 minutes. What does a fourteen hour work day mean to the rich. And it is going to get worse when the Rail Disaster is in. Auwe!
