Platinum Horseshoe blog and Town Dancer blog have been running neck and neck for quite a while. This year when I blogged a Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club social, Platinum Horseshoe would go into the lead for a few days and then drop back. Now in March it is Platinum Horseshoe in front every day. Not by much but it is number one. The blogging of the coming social of Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club will put Platinum Horseshoe firmly in first place. I expect emails from the neighbor islands.

Cholo's Homestyle Mexican on the North Shore seems to be leading the way there with the Son Caribe band. And I am anxiously waiting for that new Dance Studio in Waianae. Kapolei as Second City should have been there with a couple of good night clubs before this but the Present Rail Party has been a stumbling block. They want everybody go to town for everything. So many Business Parks have been vetoed. "And coulda been home in 20 minutes." West Oahu is getting the right mentality, Live, work and play in our own kuliana.
This is the social that will establish Platinum Horseshoe firmly in first place. But we must continue forward. The addition of Aiea Ballroom Dance Association is not going to hurt either. I look forward to the time when we can a place a photo of a nice couple, good members of our Dance Community and a short bio. We could show our appreciation of their efforts to make this a solid dance community. Getting the first one will be easy, by just asking the members at large of the two dance clubs we have now.

“Social dancers dance for themselves. If someone understands, good.
If not, no matter, they will go right on doing what they enjoy.”
