West Oahu includes the North Shore and the Son Caribe band doing just fine over there. They have some dancing at the Turtle Bay Hilton and sometimes at Cholo's Homestyle Mexican in Haleiwa. I am hoping to get some news from Tacos And More in Waianae. That coast is getting ready to bust out with dancing. Kapolei is mostly getting held back by the Present Rail Party. They were designated as Second city but they don't have a single Night Club yet.
The Central Valley is developing into the most important entertainment spot for West Oahu. Leading the charge is the Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club at the Wahaiwa Recreation Center. Then social dancing at Dot's in Wahiawa and Bachata - Salsa at Just Tacos in Mililani. There may be something coming up in Waikele or Waipio. Just let us know and we will print it. The Central Valley may develop into the Night Club center of West Oahu.
Of course, the main thing lacking in this blog is the information and the photos that would be of interest to our reader/dancers. So of prime importance is the information and photo contributors. We realize that many photos are going into Facebook, Photobucket and Picasa. There are over fifty million photos uploaded daily into Facebook alone and they get photos from everyplace in the entire world. We just have available about 30 thousand reader/dancers on Oahu and a few more on the neighbor islands.
"Social dancers believe that if you dance to the rhythm of music in your heart,
you will restore your soul, and revive your spirit.”

“Social dancers know that there are some people that live their whole lives without ever knowing this...this unnameable thing that we share, the love of just moving to music."
