Not Too Bad

The beginning of the year is not going well with the hits in the blogs. However the information posted is still pretty much SOS. Then we have been getting rid of most of the scam, spam robot hits. So that keeps the hits at a low level. The Information Contributors will determine which blogs remain. We may get more information from more people. There is still much interest from the other dancers in the Micros, like Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook. Very current and many have the little tiny bits of dance information and plenty pictures. Therefore, there may be a reason, Oahu Dancers blog remains at the bottom of the pile.

"Social dancers understand that there is a unique culture surrounding social dances. It evolves slowly and comfortable as they learn that it is just moving to their favorite music."

I must keep the social dancers and the clubs in the news and it is called Public Relations. It is also known as Ordinary Communication Media: to whom it may concern, one way, - newsletters, newspapers, radio, TV, email flyers, web sites. They do their job but nuttin' like a blog. The difference is the feedback, when we can get it. The blogging routine that was happening at the socials of Wahiawa Ballroom Dance Club was becoming well known last year. These were developing into real thinking people for the good of their communities, dance clubs and not for the big bucks.

"Sweet Someone" by Don Ho

And I have the absolute solution in mind, mostly from the examples from the mainland. The Guest Blogger. A person willing to publish their own blog within any one of our blogs. They can open a blank blog for writing. It will still have all present decorations. They write whatever they wish, post graphics. make corrections even delete it. If they save it, it will be posted and can be read by anyone in this entire world. With two Guest Bloggers the blog would go into number one in no time.

"Social dancers know that some people profess to be lovers of music, but many
give no evidence in their opinions or lives that they have heard it."
