Ever So Slowly

Extrava Danza and Ritmo Mestizo are having the toughest time to get going. Extrava Danze is zooming into the Live Music action on Oahu. But there are some dancers that suggest that some musicians are not playing music for dancers. They are interested in playing their best music for the hearing pleasure of their "listening" audience and they do have a point. But I will bet there are a hellavah lot more dancers out there than "listeners."

"Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination and life to everything else."

When people in general listen to music at home, at work, or traveling, it is usually music that is playing in the background while they do tasks such as work or household chores. This may mean that the people aren't actively listening to the music. Music can be a great, healing relaxer to help them escape from the various stresses of life these days. But of course, to really enjoy good music of any genre and harness these relaxing effects, we must really listen to it.

To really enjoy good music of any genre and harness these relaxing effects, we must really listen to it. Now what happens when you listen to Live Music? The result can be a panoramic expansion of your musical experience, which may be likened to listening in color. Canned music can be perfect and very nice, but Live Music with all its human errors can be the real thing.

You can carry around just about any song you want these days, but that's rarely better than seeing your favorite bands on Oahu live. So you want to make sure you never miss an important show of your favorite on this island and all your friends too. If we can get the bands that you like to get their news into this blog, we got it made in the shade. It is a painless way to keep on top of the performances no one wants to miss.

"Our dancing friends contribute to our personal growth. They also contribute to our personal pleasure, making the music sound sweeter, the wine taste richer, the laughter ring louder because they are there."
