Oldies But Goodies

The dancers of Oahu are really going for the oldies but goodies music. They seem to know which ones they really like. Of the thousands of new songs that are released daily, there are only a very few that survive to become "Oldies." And we don't have to listen to the good ones every day, but when we do we can enjoy to da max. For dancers it may be doubly enjoyable when moving to this music in our regular style of dance.

"Perhaps, the only way to make sense out of all these changes is to just
accept them and continue to enjoy moving to the music and dance."

They have a good dance session coming up in October on Oahu and the tickets are being gobbled up. Hopefully, they will send us a poster to include in one of our blogs.  For now we know how to find oldies but goodies. The usual places are the night clubs that  have live music. But for Live Bands it is far easier that once learned, the rest is just polish and they continue to do so every time they play.

"Young At Heart" by Frank Sinatra

Most people that have recorded live music from anywhere, have noted that when playing it back the music almost never matches the feel of the live experience. There is a different atmosphere in each. Recordings and live music are two different things. How about you? Live or recorded, which one rocks your world more?
