Rudolf Labans, five basic dance movements
First, Gesture is any movement to music not connected with supporting the body's weight. Same as Posturing.
Second, Stepping: which is simply transferring the weight from one support to another.
Third, Locomotor: Movements from one location to another. May consist of Walk, Leap, Jump, Hop, Gallop, Slide and Skip.
Fourth, Jumping is simply a movement without a point of support.
Fifth. Turning which is changing the position of the front.

From an old French Quote: "J'ai beaucoup mieux a faire que m'inquieter de l'avenir: J'ai á le preparer."
"I have much better things to do than worry about the future. I am preparing it."
