The Bedroom Communities

April ended very nicely and the center of everything in the Hawaiian Islands still remains as always the big city "Honolulu." And everyone grows up with the idea that Honolulu makes the rules for their "lil chillun" living around them. You may live outside of Honolulu, but they attempt to dictate your life. That's where the government is and they will continue to make the wrong decisions. The perfect example is the Rail Catastrophe.

"In the spider-web of facts, many a truth is strangled."

But living in town has always been expensive. And housing costs has always been very high on Oahu. So the building of bedroom communities of the last century have been planned rather well by the building industry, Good homes with a central Shopping area. But of course, it has lacked three important factors that were deliberately overlooked. Too many homes in the higher prices, little entertainment centers and the industrial parks, so you would have to deal with Honolulu.

Second City is just a gimmick for many. A population center like Kapolei could too easily become an independent second city with some good industrial parks and good entertainment areas. And a third city, The Waianae Coast? What a dream for many, living in a real Paradise. Get to spend sometime with the family.

The results have kept the automobile and the oil companies very happy. You may have to spend 14 hour daily work days and countless hours in traffic jams. But never no mind, the oil companies are making billion$. Now the rail builders are going to make billion$ more and we don't have to worry about the users of Public Transportation, they don't count.

Throughout the world millions of people are trying to find ways of getting people off their cars and use public transportation. But not the Present Rail Party in Honolulu. They have HART, Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transit and costing millions of dollars. A misnomer or a deliberate lie. Knowing the Present Rail Party we can guess. They intend to make it uncomfortable and it is going to be the biggest humbug for the users of public transportation that has ever been devised.
