"The ones crazy enough to think they can change the world,
are the ones that usually do."
I have not been much on obituaries but now with some good write ups that we have had lately, it seems very appropriate. Anyone of our Two Centers or Guest Authors would feel perfectly right to take it upon themselves for their good friends. The latest by Calvin and Debra Ota in the Town Dancer blog is a very good example. Our blogs will be social media.
I have tried to include Kalihi Chapter HBDA but they have other interests and they should do as they wish. We have tried to contact someone, anyone in the North Shore but nothing. We will be patient. We hear the rumors that everyone hears. There may a new dance club in the Waipio area or in Pearlridge area. Just rumors? Otherwise everything is quiet on the Western Front. We are here to help all dancers wherever we can.
The peripherals are doing fine in town but not much in the West. Line dancing is developing very nicely, but Tango, Salsa and Swing are not. So there may be a spot for one of these in this section. I realize that the Rail Disaster is messing up the entire section but I hope to get more photos and a few comments which makes for good reading for our fellow dancers.

So we go ahead to what is coming. In town there is a group of Salsa Dancers that we do not know that much about. We will try to find out more about them. The new dance studios in town seem to be starting along very well. Dream to Dance moving right along and I received notice from Debby that she may have the Grand Opening in July sometime. Perhaps we can pick up a good Two Center from that new group though being in Palama they will likely go in the Blogging Hawaii blog.
Blogs are more personal, direct and more current communication, They leave an opening for comments in each blog and they are receptive to more formal answers and opinions in the blog itself. The hits go through the ceiling. Real Social Media is much different than anything we have come across before, we cannot blame anyone for holding back.
